Eleanor Frances Georgina Neal
Eleanor Neal is an infectious disease epidemiologist at Murdoch Children's Research Institute, specialising in vaccine-preventable diseases and the generation of policy-relevant evidence for low- and middle-income countries. Her work spans pneumococcal conjugate vaccine optimisation, COVID-19 booster immunology, and integration of surveillance, modelling, and economic evaluations to support national immunisation decision-making. She leads analytic components of studies in Fiji, Lao PDR, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea and Thailand, including large sero-epidemiological datasets, transmission models, and clinical trial endpoints. She has contributed to evidence supporting national immunisation technical advisory groups and WHO policy discussions.
